In the ‘is wedding photography really worth all that money’ debate I am sitting quite comfortably in the corner of hell's freaking yes.

I’ve brought my doona, a cup a tea and a book, I’m so comfortable. (Lucky we are speaking figuratively because I don’t know what the bathroom situation is around here…)

Personally every penny my husband and I spent on our wedding photography was totally worth it ($3,500 if you're curious).

Although I hesitate to say the same about our wedding album. (Close to $1500 in the end with some additional pages added).

If only past Amanda knew what I am about to tell you.

This is your secret weapon to making your wedding photography more affordable:

Artifact Uprising.

Albums start at $149.00.
Prints start at $20.00.
And did you see they do THANK YOU CARDS!?

Don’t say I never give you anything.

I first heard about artifact uprising via a business group I'm part of where we were talking about socially awesome companies.

Because these aren’t a ‘made in china’ type throw away mass market no heart and soul product.

Artifcat Uprising has some serious passion, accountability and general good vibes going on in this business. Check out their full story here >

It really is no use having a USB full of beautiful photos gathering... the equivalent of computer dust.

Don’t want to do it yourself but can’t commit to a wedding album now? Here’s what you can do:

Ask your photographer if you can come back in one year and order an album then. First year anniversary is paper, after all.

It may be easier to manage the financial investment in a professionally curated wedding album when you don’t have the expensive of feeding, watering and entertaining 100 people coming up.

And you know what? You may not have the time/energy/creativity to do it yourself.

That’s also why we pay professionals.
