Chuck out your checklist - you only need this.

Wedding Planning Checklist

My office is cold but my heart is warm!

It was so great to see you enjoy my last blog post. I talked about why I think we can plan weddings better (here if you missed it) >

You will see how when I open the online doors to our wedding planning masterclass From Picture to Perfect: The 3 phase process to plan your wedding like a pro is now open.

We are often unprepared for the intensity that can be planning a wedding. (Especially what weddings they can be great at doing – bringing up family issues!).

This added complexity makes planning a wedding more intense than even a 1000 seat conference.

While I can’t take phone calls from your mother - I can give you a real, step by step process to plan your wedding like a pro.

You will have space to experience the intense love, optimism and hope of this time.

Because weddings are also great for bringing people together.

As promised here's a peak inside the 3 phase process:

Wedding Planning Checklist

Many brides are juggling everything at once, all the way through.

I see brides excited to get started; then disheartened as the big ideas that seemed so simple get harder and harder to bring together.

I see brides overwhelmed from the get-go; and never really clear or confident that they’re ‘doing things right’.

Understanding what phase you are in will help you keep a clear head and the fires of your enthusiasm burning. It will give you the sense of control you crave.

Wedding Planning Checklist

Here are three things everyone can takeaway now:

Phase 1 | Tentative Plans
Every decision will come back to how you want your wedding to feel. It may sound simple but trust me - it goes a long way to narrow down your choices and give you confidence in your decision-making.

Phase 2 | Bookings + Budget
Figure out your priorities before you book any suppliers. As costs add up so does the stress and frustration as you try to manage everything you wanted (or thought you needed) within your budget. This is especially true with underestimating the cost of styling. So much so I’ve included another example of a real wedding styling budget for you here >

Phase 3 | Organisation
Bite the bullet on your decision making now if you haven’t yet. If you put it off for too long you’ll leave very little room at the end. There are many last minute things that will require your attention: finalising menu; seating plan; dress alterations; contacting suppliers and figuring out who is helping with what on the day.

Still craving more practical advice?

My masterclass we go into how to figure out your priorities; get the best quotes; creatively work with your suppliers; and stay in control of your budget.

Worried it won't address your needs? You will get the opportunity to provide input before I finalise each weeks content.

Worried you don’t have the time? Content will be released over 3 weeks and you will get lifetime access.

In the next blog post l I’ll dive deeper in to phase 3 and how you can manage your planning with, or without an On the Day Coordinator.
